Us
Small Mags is a publisher of local directories currently
being circulated accross the Midlands. We provide a full
design, print and distribution service.
Our product and services are made
up of three core areas:
1) Publishing local, useful, area
specific service directories to towns and Villages throughout
the United Kingdom.
2) Providing marketing services to companies and organisations
to increase their trading, locally. This includes web marketing,
Print marketing and Sales generation.
3) We host monthly networking events to compliment our services
but also encourage our customers to explore new avenues
to generate business.
Privacy Policy - Overview
In order for Small Mags to operate
the service and to reduce the risk of fraud, Small Mags
("Small Mags" or "we"), the data controller,
must ask you to provide us information about yourself and
your credit or debit card and/or bank account. By consenting
to, and agreeing the terms of, the Privacy Policy, you also
expressly consent and agree to us processing your data in
the manner set out in the Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy
describes the information we collect and how we use that
information. Small Mags takes the privacy of your personal
information very seriously and will use your information
only in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information
or a list of our customers to third parties. However, in
order for us to offer our services to our users; to enhance
the quality of its service from time to time; and to protect
the interests of our users, we will in limited circumstances
and as further described in more detail throughout this
policy, share some of your information with third parties
under strict restrictions. It is important for you to review
this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to all
services that are associated with Small Mags.
By accepting the Privacy Policy and
User Agreement in registration, you expressly consent to
our use and disclosure of your personal information and
direct us to do so in the manner described in this Privacy
Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject
to the terms of the PayPal User Agreement.

Notification of Changes
This policy may be revised over time
as new features are added to the Small Mags service or as
we incorporate suggestions from our customers. We may amend
this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version
on our web site or producing this in written format in which
we will send out upon receipt of a written request. The
revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
In addition, if we propose to change this Privacy Policy
in a substantial manner, we will provide you with at least
30 days' prior notice of such a change by posting notice
on the "Policy Updates" page of our website(s).
After this 30 days notice, you will be
considered as having expressly consented
to all amendments to the Privacy Policy. If you disagree
with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you may close your
account at any time.
As stated above, we will post the

you can always review what information we gather, how we
might use that information, and whether we will disclose

by their own privacy statements, and Small Mags is not responsible
for their operations, including but not limited to their
information practices. Users submitting information to or

statement of these sites before providing them with personally

A Special Note about Children. Children
under the age of 16 are not eligible to use our service
and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit
any personal information to us or use the service.
We must insist that we personally
do not store any personal financial data within our organization.

2. What personal information do we
store?
At Small Mags we use a third party credit/Debit card processor
(Pay Pal) we work in accordance with their terms, conditions
and various privacy policies. At Small Mags we will keep
for the duration of our business transactions and open account
the following: Company Name, Trading status including reference
numbers, contact names, addresses, billing addresses, email
addresses, VAT Registration numbers personal notes kept
about the status of your account. We will not store any
credit card information.
3. How is your information used
We will use Pay pals Virtual terminal to in put your credit/Debit
card information and this will be stored on the servers
in connection with their Privacy Policy to aid with completing
the transaction and also any claims associated with fraud.

4. Who we may share your information
with
Once a transaction has taken place we will not store your
information on our system (s) for future use. Everytime
you use our card payment services we will ask you to provide
your card details again. We will not share your information
within anyone accept for the Paypal Virtual Terminal service
to process your information.
5. What methods do we communicate
with our customers
In the event an account query becomes apparent we will initially
discuss the query via the telephone. If the matter does
not get resolved we will result in writing to you via email
or post for an immediate response from our customer to resolve
any matters.
6. What security procedures are in
place to protect our customers
Any information provided to us is secured via a secure computer
system or lock and key in the event of back up.
7. Corrections
If at any time a customer believes the information we hold
may be in correct then with a written confirmation from
them we can correct and supply a printed copy of our kept
account details
Delivery Policy - Overview
1. When customers opt to take a service out with Small Mags
the service can be produced in the following ways:
• By adding the customers company information and/or design
into a publication for one, two or three months
• Via the Internet and various ongoing methods to increase
business and trade
• By granting access to any networking events that have
been scheduled in conformity with the door entry policy
set out with each event.
2. Our customers will receive a confirmation
copy or email of the service to explain the approximate
time that their service will be either distributed, arranged
or in progress.
3. Between 9 am and 6 pm Monday to
Friday (excluding major bank holidays) our customers can
contact our general office line to discuss their chosen
services and amend them if the particular service has not
met its deadline and/or gone to print.
Cancelation and refund policy
1. Cancelation of our published products requires written
correspondence 5 days before our set deadline. Our set deadline
is unique to each publication and this is published for
the following month once the publications are printed.
Our Consultancy and networking services
require 5 working days to cancel any proposed work and if
work has been undertaken we will charge a percentage of
the final agreed bill depending on how much work has been
completed.
2. We will only issue an administration
fee if we have incurred costs on working on a project or
producing a publication. This is priced at the full advert
and print, web cost plus £15.00 + VAT

4. In the event a cancellation of
order is required we will require this in written format

Small Mags Terms of Payment
All queries and discrepancies must be notified to us within
3 working days by telephone on 01509 815486 or the full
amount has to be paid within the period stated.
If it is the first time you have
used Small Mags and you take an advertisement out with us,
we require the balance to be paid on receipt of the invoice.
There is an initial element of trust and the amount of credit
you can have with Small Mags is based upon how fast the
first transaction is paid.
If you have advertised with us before
and your invoice amount is under £150 INC VAT the
payment is due within 15 days from the date of invoice.
If you have advertised with us before
and your invoice amount is over £150 INC VAT a payment
is due within 30 days from the date of invoice.
We do reserve the right under the
“Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
amended by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations
2002 to charge interest at a
rate of 8 % of the total invoice bill plus an admin fee
of £40.00 + VAT to cover late payment and
recovery if our payment deadlines are not met. Unless otherwise
specifically agreed in writing,
the price of the service shall be paid within 15 days of
the date of the invoice sent by the
company. The customer will reimburse to the company all
costs and expenses (including legal
costs) incurred in the collection of any overdue amount.
We accept the following credit and
debit cards: MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron and
Solo at a charge of £0.50p + 4.8% of the total bill
Cheques may require 7 days from
the date of issue to clear, make sure you send the cheque
7 days before the payment deadline to prevent a mark against
your account.
